The Origins
The company was officially founded in 1949. Thanks to the economic development and the favorable logistical position of the business, combined with the incentives from the thriving trade of the time and the ambitious goals of the owning family, the Caffè Chicco d'Oro brand began to gain recognition, achieving good results and establishing itself in the region.

A passion for quality and attention to the selection of beans, mainly Arabica, have led to the creation of excellent products. This commitment has allowed Chicco d'Oro to emerge not only in the Swiss market, but also in other European countries, strengthening its presence and prestige in the coffee world.
The expansion
Over these decades, the company has expanded significantly, conquering the Swiss domestic market. It successfully expanded its presence in the restaurant industry and later consolidated its position by entering large retail chains nationwide.
